After watching movies such as All the President’s Men and shows like Gilmore Girls, the characters in these films made me want to pursue journalism. My name is Samantha Erwin and other than writing, I love to go thrifting and go look for new CDs to add on to my growing CD collection. Over the summer I went to the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) summer camp at Michigan State University (MSU) with two other returning staffers, Ava and Daniel. At the camp I took a Social media class where I learned what we can do as a staff to improve the Eisenhower news social media. At home I have two cats and a new addition to my family Louie who we recently got over the summer. I am a junior and this year is my second year being a part of the Eisenhower publications and I am currently a staff writer.
