As a junior, this is my first year taking journalism. My name is Nikolina and because of all my requirements I was trying to finish last year; I now can’t have the pleasure of saying I was part of this staff for all three years, but I’m looking to do the most I can with the two years I have. I chose journalism because I am looking to gain experience and test the waters in more elements. I came to America in fifth grade and ever since then I have been focused on expanding my English because I could hardly understand anyone. Music is also a big part of my life, not in the sense that I play any instrument or sing, but in the sense that I thoroughly enjoy every second I get to hear it. I also love taking photos and looking forward to interviewing people as well as hearing new stories, but above all I love writing.

Donate for life. Offering students an opportunity to donate during school, the spring blood drive, on April 22, is from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center lobby. Due to most students being deferred, Key Club needs about 60 people to sign up to meet the goal of 33 units.
