Hello, my name is Katherine Farmer and I am a sophomore and this will be my first year on the journalism staff. Currently, strengthening my writing skills and vocabulary is a goal of mine, which drove me to join a journalism class. I haven’t had much experience in journalism prior to joining the class, so I hope to gain more knowledge on topics that revolve around journalism this year. Other things that occupy my time outside of school include sports, reading, hanging out with friends and my cat and listening to music.
