AP testing Q and A

  1. Why did you decide to take an AP test?
  2.  Was it worth it?
  3. What is one piece of advice you could give to future testers?

Senior Urja Parikh

  1. “I took it because I wanted to earn college credit and be exempted from the class next year.”
  2. “It was worth it since I’ll be able to get out of the classes if I score high enough. The multiple choice portion of my exams really weren’t that bad.”
  3. “Stay calm. It’s not the end of the world if you don’t do well. It won’t go against you. Study hard, try your best, don’t cram for the test, ask your teachers for extra help if you need it.”

Senior Cory Zayance

  1. “I took AP tests because I knew my classes had prepared me for them and I wanted the college credit.”
  2. “I thought the tests weren’t too hard and I think I will get a high enough score granting me college credit.”
  3. “Only take the tests if you believe you can get a three or higher. If you didn’t do well in the class and you don’t think you will score well, don’t take the test.”
