The Get Smart cast was running through their last dress performance before opening night. “I am so excited for the show, it is so hilarious,” junior Kaitlyn Cody said. Students teacher staff and relatives are looking forward to the Friday night performance.

Get smart, the comedic play, is showing for the first time on Eisenhower’s stage this Friday night at 7:00 pm.“I am very excited for opening night. They are getting really close, and I laugh. I sit in the audience and I laugh while they are doing it, so I know the audience is going to really like it,”play director teacher David Springer said.
The 27 person cast will be performing three shows throughout this week end. On Nov. 21 and 22 there will be a show at 7:00- 9:30p.m., and there is a 2:00p.m. matinee on the 23. Do not be late because admission and doors close at 7:00, or 2:00 for the matinee in the PACs.
“I would absolutely do a play next year because we all care so much for each other and our friendships are made stronger throughout being with each other so much,” junior Bianca Lambardini said.
The play is like a comedic spoof off of the James Bond movies, and was originally based off a tv show played in the 60s. Viewers should look forward to the characters, comedic aspect, guest teachers, great actors/actresses and the play in general. Performers have worked so hard and are looking forward for Friday to reveal their final show, according to Lambardini.
“When kids come to see it they will just like it because it is so funny, but when adults come to see it there are going to remember the old tv show and it will bring back a lot of nice memories,” Springer said.
