College Fair to be held at Henry Ford II

Utica Community Schools will host its sixth annual College Fair from 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 1, at Henry Ford II High School.

“I think that this will be very helpful for me, and for other students to decide what college will be the best fit for them,” sophomore Natalie Cucinella said.

The College fair is mainly for 10th and 11th-graders.There will be college representatives from nearly 80 Michigan and out-of-state universities who will be talking about their schools’ academic programs at the fair.

“I know what career i want to pursue, I just haven’t found the right college yet,” Cucinella said.”I’m hoping this will give me a better idea of where to go, and hopefully narrow down my options.”

There will be group presentations by several universities and also information booths.  The cost to get in is free.

Students will be able to talk to college representatives about their academic programs and ask any other questions they may have.
