Owning the stage, Japanese-American singer-songwriter Mitski Miyawaki gives an energetic and inspiring performance to fans. On March 17, 2022, Mitski sang and danced for fans at Masonic Temple in Detroit, Michigan. Singing her hit song, “First Love/ Late Spring”, Mitski gives fans an unforgettable experience due to her expressive gestures and mesmerizing voice.

The 2000s never go out of style. The clothing pictured above, including converse, off the shoulder tops, and low-rise skinny jeans, are still seen throughout the halls at Eisenhower. Although they are heavily modernized, these forward fashion statements make comebacks every year because of the monotonous fashion trends from the 2020s.

For their Toys for Tots presentation, seniors Amela Halkic, Mallory Waligora and Simran Singh earn first place in Grand Rapids, Mich. Halkic, Waligora and Singh won $1,000 for student council.  “After we won, everyone was so proud of us, and (student council adviser) Amber Bronson was so happy because we haven't done it in so long, so it was so nice to be a part of something as incredible as this,” Singh said.

Okay to not be okay. Within the hallways at Eisenhower, posters posted give brief positivity quotes to students that pass by. While these posters are thoughtful and considerate for those who read them, they are not accommodating for students who are specifically looking for where to find help.

Painting their pumpkins, Co-Editor-in Chiefs Lauren Devereux and Danielle Carlisi laugh during their halloween party in room 640. The party took place on Friday, October 29th and after decorating their pumpkins, a pumpkin contest was held.  “I was just really excited to have a relaxing day after putting in a lot of work the past few weeks to get our last edition out,” Carlisi said.
