Laundry day! On Thursday Sept. 21, sophomore Issa Dababneh participates in “anything but a backpack” spirit day with his laundry basket. Dababneh decided to bring a basket because he wanted to join in on school spirit. “The event was really fun, to be honest, because I got to hang out with other friends who contributed,” said Dababneh.

Landino prioritized wearing black so he could fit in with his friends during the football game. “It was really fun going to the football game and seeing that all my classmates were in the same color,” Landino said.

Grab that western gear. Taking advantage of the last year to participate in spirit week, seniors Leah Yancy and Addison Mondoux put their best western outfits on. Yancy wanted to make sure she didn’t miss out and got out her cowgirl accessories. “Its my senior year and I thought why not go all out for all of the spirit days. Its one of the last times we get to do it,” she said.

During the homecoming game versus Anchor Bay, 
 junior kicker Rocco Fedrigo kicks off. With alumni watching, the game went into double over time after a close scoreboard during the game. Fedrigo nailed the game winning field goal. “It was just a good moment and I was really proud of myself for the work I put it,” Rocco said. “It really paid off on the field.”
