My name is Chelsea Thayer and I am the Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper The Eagle’s Eye. I’ve loved to write ever since I was a little girl, and that love stayed with me throughout high school. I signed up for journalism as a sophomore, and then for newspaper as a junior. I was promoted to opinion editor last year, and then to Editor-in-Chief as a senior. In the fall, I plan on attending Columbia College Chicago and majoring in journalism. Newspaper has been a huge part of my life for the past two years, and I’ll be sad to let it go next year. But this class has prepared me for bigger and better things, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me.
