Powderpuff players prepare

During the homecoming game versus Anchor Bay,
junior kicker Rocco Fedrigo kicks off. With alumni watching, the game went into double over time after a close scoreboard during the game. Fedrigo nailed the game winning field goal. “It was just a good moment and I was really proud of myself for the work I put it,” Rocco said. “It really paid off on the field.”

Friday night lights

The team celebrates their District Championship win over Lake Orion on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019 sporting their traditional playoff bleached hair. “It’s something we do here every time we have playoffs and usually the whole team gets their hair bleached,” senior quarterback Blake Rastigue said.The bleached hair dates back to 1999, according to head coach Chris Smith.

Soaring into playoffs, the Varsity football team earns a win against Adams with a score of 24-0. The team will play their second playoff game next weekend against Lake Orion.

Eisenhower football playoffs

With determination written all over his face, senior quarterback Blake Rastigue practices throwing in anticipation for the Friday game. “Its fun because its a big role and I get to be the leader for the team,” Rastigue said. He also went over running plays afterwards to ensure readiness for the actual play to be carried out on game day.

Practice makes football

Nothing but strikes. After hours of practice, junior Dylan Harnden becomes the state’s top bowler. Next year, he hopes to do as well as he did last season and continue to improve.

One pin at a time

On media day, Macomb United skaters from Eisenhower High School take their photo. After three preliminary team competitions, skaters from Macomb United High School’s team B and C figure skating qualified for states. It’s just good to see them (skaters) get out of their comfort zone too because a lot of kids are not confident with getting in front of judges and getting on the ice on their own. So actually seeing them do that when there’s more pressure (or) when they might be more anxious is very rewarding because they’re growing up as skaters and as human beings,” Suburban Macomb and Rochester Ice Center figure skating coach Devin Prasatek said.

Twizzling through states

They shoot, they score. Senior Braden Buza protects possession of the ball. The team scored 58-38 in the first game of the season.

Win against Warren

Opening with a tie. The Varsity Hockey team tie during their home opening game. The team played against Walled Lake North High School who they tied with last year as well.
