The senior picnic is a way for the graduating class to get together on their last day. There will be several activities to enjoy at the event. “I think that it gives the seniors a chance to cope with losing these people that they've been with for one to even 12 years. It lets us accept that this is the last time that we're going to see a lot of these people and kind of disperse those emotions, let them be expressed in a healthy way,” senior Random Meyers said.

The yearbook staff set up some balloons to throw to celebrate their finals deadline before spring sports.

Culture takes center
At their Halloween party, the Life Centered Career Education students and members of Project Unify work on watercolor paintings. “The organization of the event all went very smoothly, but coming up with new ideas so the party is not the same exact party as last year was a bit challenging,” club president Sarah Finitzer said. Club members helped out with the different activities and planning them.

The women's varsity basketball team gets ready to make their way to semifinals. Friday the 20th of March the girls play at the Breslin center at Michigan State University to determine if they make it to finals.
Semifinal bound
While swimming back during a meet against Fraser high school, senior Simon Kristensen brings his hand back to continue the stroke. “Beating the record made me feel proud, the hardest part of breaking records was practicing more because that meant I had to wake up early for morning practices,” Kristensen said. He broke the records for 200 MR, 100 free, 100 back, 200 free and 500 free.
Record breaking season
During a varsity volleyball game, junior Lilliana Tripi and senior Liliana Gegovic celebrate their point. "The handshake is like a reset. It's either us celebrating after each point or for us to keep going. It just puts us in a good mood," Trippi said.

During fall ball, sophomore Leah Poggiolo dribbles on the court. “My love for basketball motivated me to start playing,” Poggiolo said.
Courting a spot
With months of practices and prior races senior Alexander Perry prepares himself for the biggest race of the year. “During the season I try to give them stress free practices while also helping them succeed. I believe a happy runner is a fast runner,” varsity cross country coach Steve Carcone said.
