Sworst goes to nationals

Hard work comes with great rewards. These rewards can lead to future success.
“What motivates me is seeing college gymnasts and I want to be like that,” gymnast sophomore Sam Sworst said.
She’s been working to be the best gymnast she can be be for 14 years. For the first time in her gymnastics career, the level 10 gymnast qualified for states. She ranked 3rd and 6th all around state for beam. Following states, Sworst was invited to nationals in Indianapolis.
“I am extremely shocked and blessed for being able to make it to nationals,” Sworst said.
The invitation to nationals wasn’t Sworst’s only reward, but she also received many outfits and leotards to wear for the major event.
“I’m really proud of myself,” Sworst said. “I am the only one in my gym[‘s history] who has made it to nationals.”
