Science Olympiad prepares for tough competition in states

Throughout the year Science Olympiad coach, Susan Ogden has been preparing her team to dominate states.

“Coach Ogden coaches very hard to help us accomplish our goals for the years and everything we have planned.” said junior Hunter Allen.

The team does not have set days for practice together, only with teammates in the same events.  They placed 11th in states last year but hope to bring a first place trophy home to pay off for their hard work.

“Our team is perfect with coach Ogden and we are all doing great under her coaching.” Allen said.

Every friday the members meet and talk about their improvements in their events. They discuss and show the importance of any events they participate in.

“I’ve only been of the team for a year but since then we have come a long way and medalled in states,” Allen said.
