Midterms are rolling around and biology teachers are getting out the dead frogs.

Dissecting frogs is one of many exciting projects given to biology students studying the different types of body systems.  Sophomores got to examine these slimy specimens Monday through Thursday 2 weeks before midterms.

“It was pretty fun, especially trying to get the brain out,” sophomore Parker Haines said. “But I didn’t like messing around with the intestinal system.”

“It was nice to see what i was learning about and instead of reading words on a paper,” Haines said.

Dissecting a frog is a unique experience. Many Biology Teachers like Hahn, Logsdon Siemianowski, and Nichols conducted the projects.

“I would like to do it again, maybe on a larger animal.”
