Special Education/LCCE prom

“I’m so excited for prom and I’m going with a date, ” sophomore Kendall McClain said.

Some volunteers get permission from their teachers to step out of their academics to assist the special education and LCCE students to get ready. Paul Mitchell Salon will be at Eisenhower to help them as well. Prior to the dance, hair and makeup for the girls are done to make the experience even more special and memorable.

Members of Project Unify and other clubs volunteer to help out and or attend the dance. They will go to Enchantment about an hour early or so to set up. This gives the students an opportunity to interact with kids they go to school with and have a good time.

“I’m very excited to be apart of the spring formal because I love being with our students and making them happy,” project unify member sophomore Isabella Serraiocco said.

Both special education/LCCE students and Eisenhower volunteers look forward to Friday to have some fun with many laughs and fulfill high school memories together.
