The Key club is holding a blood drive Dec.4th in hopes of donations to save lives. As they have done this in the past, they advertise differently and more this year by having a bigger committee and lunch volunteering, in hopes of people willing to donate.

As new key club members arrive at the mixer on Tuesday, Oct. 8, junior key club secretary Sonja Peterson passes an information pamphlet to sophmore Maria Kaci. Since this is Peterson’s first year on the board it was her first time helping run the event. “It was really great to see all the new members and help them. I’m really looking forward to working with them this year and next year,” Peterson said.

Need for blood. During the Key Club hosted blood drive, junior Julian Kinaya donates blood. “I donated blood because I thought  it might help somebody who needs it more than me,” said Kinaya. After donating, he was greeted by the staff and recovered relatively quickly.

Key Club welcomes new president, junior Ava Musharbash, for the 2022-2023 school year. “I was putting in all this hard work into school and not seeing any results besides the quick grades,” Musharbash said. “So, after putting all these hours into my clubs, I realized what I'm doing is really paying off,” Musharbash said. She spoke about her plans for the future of Key Club and is thrilled to execute them out.
