Senior defensive lineman Michael Dziadula is celebrating with junior defensive lineman Marco Fodale after a big play against Dakota. The Eagles went on to win this game 21-14 on October 11th to split the MAC red title.

Powderpuff players prepare

During the homecoming game versus Anchor Bay,
junior kicker Rocco Fedrigo kicks off. With alumni watching, the game went into double over time after a close scoreboard during the game. Fedrigo nailed the game winning field goal. “It was just a good moment and I was really proud of myself for the work I put it,” Rocco said. “It really paid off on the field.”

Friday night lights

The team celebrates their District Championship win over Lake Orion on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019 sporting their traditional playoff bleached hair. “It’s something we do here every time we have playoffs and usually the whole team gets their hair bleached,” senior quarterback Blake Rastigue said.The bleached hair dates back to 1999, according to head coach Chris Smith.

Soaring into playoffs, the Varsity football team earns a win against Adams with a score of 24-0. The team will play their second playoff game next weekend against Lake Orion.

Senior Isaac Ammori and his family are at Lambeau field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to watch the Lions take on the Packers on Sunday, Nov. 3. This was Ammori’s first time at Lambeau field and one of ten games he plans to go to this season. “It was an exciting game because I've never been to Lambeau Field, and my dad's always wanted to go since he was a little kid,” Ammori said.

Weston Szudarek and other graduates huddle up together watching the introductions. With nerves taking over they stand there and acknowledge the event that's happening. "I was nervous, it was my first year of hockey but the seniors helped me through it and calmed me down." said Szudarek

Season of Redemption

Preparing for the upcoming season, Eisenhower and Utica High School’s bowling teams merge to bolster their numbers. The bowlers are joined by new head coach John Mazza as well as Taran Heersma and Mark Harden. "Both programs were very good last year, and we're basically taking a mix of the best of both programs and putting it into one team," Mazza said.

The varsity basketball team is lined up for the national anthem prior to their home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 26. “There were a lot of nerves and many guys were playing for the first time. You simply can’t win with that many team fouls,” senior Alexander Edgar said. The Eagles lost 70-54 against Roseville but look to bounce back in their upcoming matchups.

Heart over height

Seniors Jack Bullock and Bryce Hurley walk off of the field for the last time in their high school careers. "It sucks but I wouldn't trade that season for anything," Bullock said. Both players were awarded MAC Red All-League Honors, with Hurley winning MAC Red MVP.
