Varsity hockey remains undefeated

Starting off their season with a 5-0 record, the Varsity Hockey Team hopes to continue doing well this season in order for the team to make it to states.

“I think that we have a really good chance of making it to states this year,” senior captain Jack Tobiczyk said. “We have a really strong team this year and I think we have the hard work and determination to make it really far.”

The team spends a lot of time together on and off the ice. When the team is not at practice they like to all hang out together at someones house. This time spent bonding together helps improve performance on the ice.

“I am really happy that I ended up deciding to play for Ike for my last year,” senior forward Ryan Dempsey said. “I think that the team is really close this year and we all really get along and have the same goal of making it to states.”
