Thayer named Editor-in-Chief

After showing leadership and hard work in newspaper class this year, junior Chelsea Thayer was named the 2014-2015 Editor-in-Chief.

“I am so grateful to have this opportunity,” Thayer said. “I am already planning for next year and can’t wait to go to camp this summer to get new ideas to bring back to the staff.”

Being the Editor-in-Chief for the newspaper requires hard work and dedication towards the staff and the paper. This position requires more than just writing stories and creating designs; it also requires looking over the staff and planning for different deadlines.

“When I heard that Chelsea was taking over my position next year, I was really proud of her,” former Editor-in-Chief Lauren Kostiuk said. “I really saw that she showed great leadership and she really loved to be in class and I think that she will do an amazing job as Editor-in-Chief for next year.”
