The Key club is holding a blood drive Dec.4th in hopes of donations to save lives. As they have done this in the past, they advertise differently and more this year by having a bigger committee and lunch volunteering, in hopes of people willing to donate.

For the first time, Key Club hosts a September blood drive. Blood from the drives is always transferred to Henry Ford Hospital and straight into Michigan patients.

Need for blood. During the Key Club hosted blood drive, junior Julian Kinaya donates blood. “I donated blood because I thought it might help somebody who needs it more than me,” said Kinaya. After donating, he was greeted by the staff and recovered relatively quickly.
