All night long
Information for the Senior all night party
Seniors get a chance to celebrate the end of the year with the Senior All Night Party.
“The event is put on by a group of parents, this is not sponsored or approved by IKE or the UCS,” Rouse said. “The overall meaning is a final night for the graduating class to gather in a safe environment, for a night of fun and friendship.”
The party will be held Saturday, June 4, at Dave and Busters from 11:30pm to 3:30am. To be able to attend the party and purchase tickets, seniors have to complete the registration form and submit to the office with payment, or fill out the form and email it to [email protected] and pay via Venmo. Tickets currently are $85.
“No tickets will be sold at the door. The actual night of the event, a student id is needed to enter,” said Rouse. “We will have a list of all registered participants.”
Food, beverages and all entertainment will be provided at no extra cost throughout the entire party as the ticket price covers all the food and activities.
“The event includes, photo booth, massages, mystic card readers, virtual reality attraction, casino games, corn hole, giant Jenga, ping pong, gift cards and gift baskets, $40 game card, unlimited video games and caricature drawings and more,” said Rouse. “You also get unlimited pizza, burgers, chicken tenders, mac & cheese, fries, fruit, cookies and soft drinks.”
As with most things, this party comes with rules and regulations. To start, students attending must be a 2022 Eisenhower High School Senior. Guests, former students or students attending other schools cannot attend.
Next, the student attending must arrive through the main front doors of the establishment only during the scheduled check-in time. If a student has purchased a ticket but does not arrive within the time frame of check-in, the parent or guardian listed on the permission form will be contacted, even if the student is over the age of 18.
Third rule is that the students cannot bring in backpacks, purses or any bags. The Senior All Night Party committee cannot hold onto car keys or personal belongings. Therefore, the students are purely responsible for personal belongings like cameras, jewelry or other valuables. Plus, all belongings are subject to inspection by chaperones.
Understandably, the next rule is students cannot possess, consume or be under the influence of drugs, alcohol or tobacco products.
The last regulation is once the student has paid, it is non-refundable. Neither will the student receive an actual ticket. The permission form and students name on file will act as the ticket.
“We require students to read over the rules and sign off that they agree to them, on the registration form,” said Rouse. “ If the rules are not followed you will be removed from the party or the police will be called-depending on the offense.”
