Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, Animal Crossing: New Horizon releases March 20.

Fans await the release of the game and have sold out many stores’ pre-order bonuses. Walmart, Target and Best Buy all offered pre-order bonuses, like: journals, calendars, tote bags and stickers; unfortunately, excited fans purchased all of these bonuses and the stores are out of stock. GameStop is the last store left with a pre-order bonus available, offering a New Horizons poster.

This game costs $60 at most stores, although Walmart offers a discount in stores on the release day for $50. The game is available in many other stores like GameStop and Target, too.

Based on the game, Nintendo offers a special Animal Crossing console, released three years ago. The Joy-Con controllers are pastel green and blue, compared to the classic blue and red and the console dock has cute characters from the game decorating it. This special edition console costs almost $300, if you choose to purchase it.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which came out in 2012, was the last main game of the Animal Crossing series to be released, so it’s not surprising that fans look forward to the release of New Horizons. Many more features, like auto-save and a larger inventory, enhance the playing experience of New Horizons.
