A Star is Born movie review

Laughter, tears rolling down faces, and the joy of music was the outcome of the movie A Star Is Born.

This movie is about musician Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) who falls in love with a struggling artist, Ally (Lady Gaga). Jackson brought her into the spotlight, on tour, and soon enough she is on her own touring around the world.

Jackson fights ongoing battles of his own internal demons which makes their relationship rocky but their love for each other is indescribable.

A Star Is Born was based on the original movie made in 1976. I would advise watching the original first so the differences can be understood.

I liked the movie because I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster. I loved how hard the cast worked for these roles. For example, Cooper had to learn how to sing for the role and Lady Gaga learned how to act and be her true self.

I wish the ending wasn’t so heavy; I was heartbroken. I also felt like they focused so much on the couple on tour when the movie was so much more than that. They have a life other than being in front of a crowd.

I would rate this movie a 9 out of 10; it is definitely worth seeing.
