Bringing everyone together, the Life Centered Career Education program (LCCE) puts together a fundraiser at Buddy’s Pizza.
“Our LCCE program has some fantastic students and we want to make sure that we are giving them the best high school experience,” LCCE program head Kevin Edwards said.
All students are encouraged to support the program’s Shelby Township Buddy’s Pizza fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 21. 20 percent of the proceeds will help support the program’s prom this April.
“I think it’s important to show that everybody should be treated equally, we’re doing our fundraiser because that money that we collect goes towards our prom so that they have a prom of their own and something to look forward to,” LCCE program teacher Tina Moore said.
Multiple LCCE families came to support the fundraiser last year and many more are hoped to attend this year. The fundraiser will be held from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“I want everybody to help,” Moore said. “I hope everybody will come out so that we can get a good turnout.”
