Sam Semerau is starting her sophomore year as a member of the newspaper staff. She has an intense passion for English/Language Arts. In recent years, she’s been a part of multiple drama productions in her junior high with a major role in a play her eighth grade year and a chorus place in a musical her freshman year. Despite her brief absence from drama, she still considers herself an aspiring thespian and looks to get back on the wagon. She has been published professionally in the past and has continuously loved writing. Sam wishes to pursue newspaper throughout her high school career and look into a career related to writing when she’s older. Over the years, she’s gained many sources of inspiration (including many past English teachers, her former Yearbook teacher, and former history teachers) and loves to look to them in her times of doubt.
