Whether a hardcore MCU fan or a casual viewer of the franchise, this is one of the few must see Marvel movies.
Since releasing on May 5, fans and new viewers alike have flocked to social media to rave about how amazing this film is. Within 72 hours of opening, the new movie already boasts a 95% audience score and 82% Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes, according to rottentomatoes.com.
Fans can expect the patented witty and sarcastic humor that comes in a Guardians of the Galaxy movie along with a banger soundtrack. The plot follows the beloved characters Peter Quill, Drax, Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Nebula, Mantis, and new characters introduced along the way as they try to stop The High Evolutionary from purging the world of his own creations.
Along the way, viewers are given insight on Rocket’s past and why he has never chosen to open up about it, which has been concealed in the previous movies. His history might not be the best of memories, but the movie perfectly adds in bits and pieces while progressing the rest of the plot, so it never feels like it is dragging.
So much about this piece of cinema has hit home with viewers, leading many to claim that this has been the best Marvel movie released since Endgame. The creativity, the visuals, and the color pallets used throughout the duration of the film please the viewer’s eyes and demand their full attention.
While it is a bittersweet goodbye to the series, as it has been confirmed this will be the last Guardians of the Galaxy movie, it was an epic conclusion to perfectly wrap up all the character’s storylines and plot conflicts.
