Fall season brings festive pumpkin bread recipe

Spice%2C+spice%2C+baby

Over the years, students and staff have collected recipes from their family and friends during this time of year that they would love to share with everyone so they can make their festive dinners a little more tasty.

Senior Brayden Schrieber has used the same recipe every year. His family makes this recipe and recommends it to anyone willing to try something new.

“My favorite festive treat during fall is pumpkin bread,” Schrieber said. “My family and I make this pumpkin bread during Halloween and around Thanksgiving time. It is very simple to make; it just takes a little time.”

The pumpkin bread can be eaten at any time of day—breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert.

When preparing what is needed, the ingredients and pans can be found at any local grocery store, but probably deep in the cabinets at home.

The preparation time can vary depending on the baker’s experience. It can be a minimum of 10 minutes to a maximum of 20 minutes.

“Once it was prepared and ready to go into the oven, the wait began,” Schrieber said.” However, once the wait was over, and the bread was ready to be eaten, the entire process was definitely worth it.”

When getting ready to bake the bread, make sure to either line the pan with parchment paper or grease the pan very well. If this step is skipped, the bread will not come out of the pan clean and will potentially ruin the bread.

If made correctly, the bread comes out delicious with a strong pumpkin flavor. It is an amazing treat during the fall and makes the fall season a little better than it already is.

All in all this fall festive recipe is recommended by the Schrieber family to anyone who enjoys an easy to make fall treat. This recipe bakes up to a score of five out of five.
