Choir members practice the song “Carol of the Bells” for their upcoming winter concert. “I think the choir will do wonderful,” senior Show Choir member Anna Agosta said. “There is a lot of true talent with everyone in our class.” The concert will take place on Dec. 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but Show Choir’s holiday concerts on Dec. 11 and 12 will be delightful.

“It’ll be a lot of fun,” Choir Director Julia Holt said. “We do a mixture of more classical style singing and fun holiday type stuff, so it’s a good mix with different styles of music for people who like different things.”

Both concerts will begin at 7 p.m in the Performing Arts Center. The group has been preparing around 20 songs since the beginning of November to ensure there’s time to polish their performance.

“This concert is really important to us,” senior Show Choir member Sal Virelli said. “It’s our only holiday-type concert we do, all of our other concerts are based off of musicals; but this concert is based off of classic songs that people actually know and can sing along to.”
