Baking blissful brownies
To enjoy a yummy treat, make this quick and easy brownie recipe
When a recipe calls for many ingredients and steps, there’s more room for mistakes, but this minimal ingredient brownie recipe offers low labor and a quick delicious outcome.
These three ingredient nutella brownies turned out delicious considering it calls for three ingredients—two of which being common household baking items. The few components makes this dessert cost effective but doesn’t lack in taste.
As an intermediate baker, the minimal and straight to the point steps made recreating the recipe simple and easy. The simplicity allows for more time to mix rather than reading.
Due to poor preparations, substitutions had to be made. The local store ran out of nutella, so a substitute brand of a hazelnut spread was used instead. Also, the recipe called for a nine-by-nine metal pan, which was substituted for an eight-by-eight glass dish. This in turn made the cook time two and a half minutes longer because the pan was smaller making the batter thicker.
Prep time took about five minutes to measure and add the three ingredients. Cook time took an additional 20 minutes, but it took an extra five minutes to cook due to using an eight-by-eight pan. Set time, which felt the longest, took about another five minutes.
Proper planning makes the baking process much smoother. The rich hazelnut taste and relatively easy to follow directions made up for the minor mistakes and substitutions.
All in all, this recipe is recommended to anyone wanting a quick and easy brownie recipe. This recipe bakes up a score of four out of five.
