Girls take on football

The class of 2017 makes memories as the girls win the powderpuff football game for the second year in a row.

“It’s such a fun game and I’m really happy that I got to play and win both years. I can’t believe that we won this year by only a point,” senior Bella Dedivanovic said.

It was such a close game that the seniors almost lost; they stopped the extra point to win in the last few seconds of the game, making the win even sweeter for their senior year.

“The juniors were definitely a tough team and they have some great athletes, so I’m happy our team came up at the end and it was a great game,” coach Patrick Packan said.

Packan was the coach of two back to back champion teams in a row, the class of 2017 and the class of 2015. He said he was proud of the girls for bringing their game in the last few seconds and bringing home the trophy.
