STATIC Club Plans For Next Year

Flag pole prayers and holiday parties,
outdoor games and meetups.

All of these and more await members of the STATIC Club in the upcoming year of 2017.
STATIC, or Students Taking Action Together In Christ, is a religious club within the school that meets every Thursday afternoon right after school at 2:15. All students are welcome to join.
Throughout the year, STATIC’s founder and leader, Mrs. Greer, has several activities planned.
“We’re going to do our annual prayer at the flag pole in September, and we’re also participating in National Prayer Day on May 5th,” Greer said. “We also hold an annual fundraiser for a boy from Africa named Salaton who is part of the Compassion International Program.”
Additionally, the club has several types of fun activities scheduled throughout the year.
“We usually head out to Yates, the movies, plays, and have picnics, and more,” said member Lindsey Saylor. “It’s always a great time.”
Mrs. Greer encourages anyone that would like to join for next year to go see her in room 215.
“I would love it if more students joined STATIC,” Greer said. “Having more members means more people that participate in our meetings and events.”
