Aubree’s Pizzeria

Overall: 2 out of 3 plates. The food was satisfying, the wait staff slacked, but the seating was amazing.

Walking into Aubree’s Pizzeria, receiving a greeting by the warm and welcoming hostess, sitting in the comfortable booths and turning on the TV, created a pleasantly new dining experience. The seating was extremely comfortable and it was cool to have a TV in each booth. It’s the perfect place to hang out or watch a sports game. The hostesses were kind, although the wait staff was slow. They did not cover all the bases: drinks were not refilled and there was a lack of napkins on the table. The pizza itself could have been better; however, the pizza crust was fluffy and delicious. The dessert was absolutely amazing. The cookie crisp, for example, was filled with chocolate, wrapped in pastry, topped with caramel and chocolate and served with a side of ice cream and happiness. The portions were fairly large and filling. Overall, I enjoyed the new experience this restaurant provided.

Moni’s

Overall: 1 out of 3 plates. The food was ordinary, the seating wasn’t overly comfortable, but the wait staff did a great job and were very friendly.

Eating at Moni’s felt like eating at grandma’s house. The nice and friendly wait staff makes sure their customers have everything they need. Water glasses are always full and they work hard to make their customer’s dining experience a satisfying one by frequently checking in at the table. The food tasted like anyone could make it in their own kitchen. Customers will enjoy their meal, but the dishes are not anything out of the norm. This is a typical mom and pop restaurant, where they are more known for the involved and friendly staff then the food. Also, the portions are large, but not overwhelming. This is a great place to eat out and is also good for a customer’s wallet; everything on the menu was highly affordable. The open and airy interior design creates a very comfortable atmosphere. The booths and bar seats are fairly comfortable and roomy but it would be more pleasant if the seats were padded. Ultimately, dining at Monis was a good experience because it was highly affordable.

Marcus’ Grill

Overall: 3 out of 3 plates

The food and service both worked together to create an unforgettable dining experience. Upon walking in, it was obvious how popular this restaurant is because of the surplus of customers and it was a bit crowded. There are choices everywhere: seating, meal and price. They have a large menu and serve a variety of foods. The pancakes were smothered with a mixture of syrup and buttery goodness and served with a juicy side of sausage. The hamburger was also delicious and the salty; crunchy french fries were outstanding and the best part of the meal. The portions were large and customers can easily split a meal or take a sizable amount home. The prices ranged from about $5-20. Customers may order a more economical meal, but also splurge on more exotic foods like the perch picatta or hamburger steak. The staff is friendly and created a comfortable dining experience. The dining area was a crowded with a plethora of tables. This was such a fantastic meal and restaurant to dine out.
