Student Council holds elections
Student Council plans homecoming, raises funds for Toys for Tots, and organizes prom and this week students have the chance to vote and elect who is on Student Council next year.
Elections for E-Board, the group the runs Student Council, occurred on March 25 with the new members being voted on by the current council. Junior Jessica Guerra was elected President for next year with Junior Jordan George as Vice President. In addition, Junior Nina Bordeau was elected as Secretary, Junior Jordan Bommarito was selected as Treasurer, Junior Bianca Lombardi became the new historian, Junior Blake Sanborn was chosen as the Tech Manager, and Junior Lucas Atallah was elected as the Parliamentarian. Also, Sophomores Evan Esper and Danielle Anthes were appointed as Underclassmen Representatives. General elections for Class Officers and Class Representatives are occurring through April 2.
“Students should have a say in who runs their class and becomes their school leaders and voting is an amazing opportunity to voice your opinion,” Sophomore Student Council member Aleaha Smith said.
Students can vote by going to www.eduballot.com/eisenhower and their username is their full student identification number and their password is their birthday in the format: mm/dd/yyyy.
“I am really excited because we have a lot of new and great student leaders in the club and I am excited to see who will be on the full council next year after elections,” Underclassmen Representative Danielle Anthes said, “We are going to have a lot of new energy and I am excited for all of our new projects next year.”
