The yearbook. A thick book compiled of 264 pages. These pages are divided into sections based upon their coverage. Different yearbook members were assigned different spreads to work on. The final pages were sent to print at the end of March. On the morning of May 19 the books arrived, cool and black. And after skimming through the finished copy, some staffers reflected on their work on the spreads and shared their favorite one:

“My favorite spread is the outside of school sports because it shows a different interest of the students outside of academics and just school sports.” Staffer Marina Palazzolo ‘16

“My favorite was the Men’s Varsity Tennis spread. It was one of the first spreads I did. Although it was one of my first, I feel as though it was my best work. I was able to capture a lot of action pictures, and I had a lot of coverage throughout the page with the two “In Your Own Words” stories, the captions and the mods.” Yearbook Senior Message and Reference Pages editor Nicole Mezser ‘16

“My favorite spread is the pep assembly one because it shows the students interacting with school activities. It also really demonstrates their emotions.” Staffer Diana Juncaj ‘16

“My favorite spread was probably the homecoming spread. I went there to take pictures for two hours despite the fact that we used prestige pictures. It was one of the first real spreads I did on my own. It just amazed me that i could do everything on the page in just the three weeks we were given.” Staffer Jordan George ‘16

“My favorite spread was the LCCE spread. It was the second or third spread that I had completed. Although I had to get pictures from the teachers, I had the best time interviewing and talking to the kids in that program.” Staffer Amanda Horton ‘16

“My favorite spread was the opening because that was one of the first actual stories I have ever written and I’m really proud of how the whole thing turned out.” Editor-in-Chief Kristen Mezser ‘15
