Ike’s 2013-2014 Yearbook Arrives

Eisenhower Yearbook discusses the yearbook’s content.

It’s here and it’s REAL.

This morning the yearbooks arrived; a 264 page book with a slick black cover and blue letters reading “inREALity” printed across the front.

“The theme is inREALity, because the book contains a behind-the-scenes look at the real and definite effort that led to the successes of this school,” sophomore yearbook staffer Amanda Horton said.

The yearbooks will be distributed to the seniors tonight at the Senior Sunset, which is held on the football field at 7 p.m.

“I’m really excited to pass them out tonight, so that everyone can see our hard work come to life,” junior editor Kaitlyn Lathrop said.

Lathrop and the rest of the 15 member yearbook class passed out T-shirts at lunches today to get students pumped up for the big reveal. A select 150 seniors, sophomores and juniors alike recieved T-shirts, though sophmores and juniors will have to wait until tomorrow to get their hands on their own books.

“I can’t wait to see the yearbook. Last years was awesome and I loved the coverage of the theatre program, so I really hope that this year’s lives up to the one before it. But seeing the yearbook staff out all the time interviewing and taking pictures, I’m sure it will,” senior Catherine Krapfl said.

Those who didn’t order a yearbook will have the opportunity to purchase one Wednesday morning in room 640 at 7 a.m., for $80 in cash, check or money order payable to Eisenhower Yearbook. There is a very small number of extra books, so the yearbook staff advises those interested to line up early.
