Sophomore Bailey Delaire recycles her homework. “I think recycling is really important,” Delaire said. “Everyone needs to start thinking about the consequences of our waste”. The recycling bin will close on Apr. 25.

Environmental club has placed a gigantic recycling bin in the main office and it is waiting for donations.

“It provides an opportunity to lessen electronic waste in our landfills and reuse items instead of making new ones,” Environmental Club sponsor Brygida DeRiemaker said.

The bin opened on Apr.15 and will continue to be available until Apr. 25. It is located in the main office, and will take materials of all shapes and sizes. Everything from laptops and cell phones to televisions and DVD’s is recyclable, so feel free to donate any used possessions.

“It’s a chance for our staff, students and community to get rid of these large items for free,” said DeRiemaker.
