Hi, my name is Emilia Meca. Since I was younger, I’ve always loved to get a hold of a camera and make fake YouTube vlogs and take pictures. As a sophomore, Journalism 1 being open and available to me was kind of like going back to my roots and going further into this pathway of photography. This is my first year on Ike varsity swim, and my second year playing tennis for Eisenhower. I took this class because I want to improve my photography skills, how to work a complex camera, and eventually make sports photography a side gig. In my free time, I love to watch Netflix and YouTube. My favorite shows are “Outer Banks” and “Criminal Minds”, and I love to rewatch and binge it whenever I’m free.
