“Hubie Halloween” review
Comedy movie “Hubie Halloween” shares Hubie’s adventures on Halloween night
Pumpkins, candy, decorating and fun activities are some of the excitement factors of the October season and the new movie “Hubie Halloween” features it all.
The plot revolves around protagonist Hubie Dubois, who just wants to make sure that the kids stay safe and enjoy a fun night. Unfortunately, people continuously make fun of him and make him feel less than the others daily. Hubie goes through many difficult obstacles to overcome the night.
This comedic and heartfelt movie is a great one to watch at home. The movie fits the fall vibe and is perfect for the October season.
Some of the starring actors in this movie include Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Kenan Thompson and Noah Schnapp. Adam Sandler, who plays Hubie, gave a wonderful acting performance along with Julie Bowen who plays Violet Valentine. The lighting in the movie includes modern light and glow, because of the time frame of the set, then it becomes dark while the night grows closer on Halloween night. The outfits in the movie include mostly costumes because of the Halloween base of the movie. If you enjoy comedy and cute movies, this movie is right up your alley. At the same time, there were many parts that left people saying “Awww” or “What is going to happen next!”
The movie premiered at number one on Netflix’s daily Top 10 list and remains there currently. “Hubie Halloween” runs about one hour and forty minutes. This movie includes multiple funny parts and action becomes a large factor which lets the movie continue rolling. The movie came out on Oct. 7 and rates PG-13.
All in all, “Hubie Halloween” rates 4.5 out of 5 pumpkins on the rating scale.
