Business students explore Northwood University
Accounting, marketing and finance classes received the opportunity to attend Northwood University, a business college, on Oct. 17.
“It is the opportunity to get your feet on a campus,” business teacher Louise LaFaive said. “It’s beneficial for them to see different options in business.”
Students were split into groups and college students gave them a tour around the university’s private campus to see what opportunities it can provide for them in the future. During the few hours they had to tour the college, they explored the schools library and various buildings which contained lecture halls.
“Visiting the college was a good experience,” junior Mark McAdams said. “You get a first person view before applying.”
