As a result from the amount of pressure placed on them, students experience a toxic shift in their "grind" mindset. “We’re all teenagers, we don’t really have habits yet. I mean I think we’re all messes deep down but then also there is just so much work that's being expected of us,” senior Helen Kangus said. All the pressures students experience impacts their mental health.

Productivity pressures

LEGO offers a large collection of Star Wars themed sets. This year is the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars, according to lego.com.

LEGO’s lasting legacy

As girls in gen alpha follow trends popular with adults and teenagers, girls in gen z follow more nostalgic trends. “I feel like so many girly aesthetics have become popular again because social media is so widely used now and when girls see other girls online having a certain aesthetic, they’ll tend to want to do the same,” senior Merna Jazrawy said. The difference in the opposing trends that became popular between both generations suggested how social media negatively and positively affected trend cycles.

Sign of the times

Club leaders senior Angelina Garmo and sophmore Alyssa Kasmikha, special guest Father Simon, and club advisor Jennifer Solomon meet for the Jesus loves you club. The club meets in the ECC or Solomon's room every other Friday after school
