        Swimmers race against Grosse Pointe North, Canton

        The girl’s swim team competes with two other schools, Grosse Pointe North and Canton

        Up against Grosse Pointe North, junior Ava DiNatale swims her freestyle event. “[I felt] anxious and worried that I’m going to drown. Then overall once you get up, you’re just really happy about how well you did,” DiNatale said. She went on to win second place for that event.

        Reaching above the net, senior Kenneth Wright blocks Stoney Creek's hit. "The most I can do is just play and do things that are exciting," Wright said. "That might be the thing that gets one other person to come play." MHSAA incorporated mens volleyball into official high school sports.
        Breaking barriers
        The varsity girl's lacrosse team won their first game of the season against Grosse Point North. They beat them 11-5.
        Change the game
        After a final season full of dedicated bowling, senior Dylan Harnden gets awarded Michigan Bowler of the Year. "I had no idea that it was that was getting the award," Harnden said. Harnden and his team also won the D1 state championship.

        During an award ceremony Sensei Jon Davis awards junior Cara Wolf her kobudo belt. “I felt very proud of myself at that moment, I worked very hard to get this belt,” Wolf said.

        Looking for wrist control, senior  Elijah Halbert gains on his opponent. “I started wrestling because I was interested in MMA and it teaches me life skills,” Halbert said. He has wrestled for three years.
