The eyeshadows in this palette are highly pigmented and a little bit of product goes a very long way. As for wear, the shadows stay on for long periods of time until wiped off with makeup wipes. The palette itself lasts a long time. Inside of it is a mirror which is great for examining the look. The only complaints about this palette include the excessive amount of fallout and the struggle of blending the eyeshadows. Overall this product earns 3/5 stars.

The second most expensive palette is the Morphe Jaclyn Hill eyeshadow palette which runs for $38.00. The palette contains nine matte and 16 shimmer shades of every color under the rainbow and more. The eyeshadows are highly pigmented and easy to apply and blend. Not much product is needed to get the eyeshadow looking vibrant. There is no mirror inside of this palette which is unfortunate. These shadows stay on well, but not very long so re-appliance may be needed throughout the day. The palette is long lasting, due to the large number of shades available to use. This product is worth its price. Overall this product earns 4/5 stars.

The least expensive palette is the Tarte limited-edition Rainforest of the Sea highlighting eyeshadow palette vol. III with a price of $36.00. It contains seven shimmer shades and one matte shade, all nude and bronze colors. This palette is good for a natural, daily makeup look and although it’s not the most colorful, it’s the most useful. The mirror on the lid is very useful to see what the makeup looks like up close. The shadows themselves are very creamy, bright and useful to complete any makeup look – dramatic or natural – and stay on for long amounts of time. A plus to this palette is it is vegan-friendly.

This palette lasts a long time since minimal product is needed to get the perfect eyeshadow look. Overall this product earns 5/5 stars.

All in all, the Tarte limited-edition Rainforest of the Sea highlighting eyeshadow palette vol. III palette was the most consumer-thoughtful and practical.
