As the student council members came back from their meetings at Frankenmuth, they realized that many schools have a winter dance or a “snowcoming” this looked like a fun idea and something new to do this year so senior class president Simona Dimovski asked student council head Amber Bronson if they could do it, and she agreed, until class voting occurred among the students.
“I was really excited for the dance, it just really makes me mad that because about 15 kids didn’t agree with the quote for the senior class they ruined the dance for everyone else.” senior Ariana Vitale said.
Because of the responses on Twitter to the class quote, Bronson saw what they said and about the quote and decided that if everyone was going to make comments and not all agree about the quote, then she was going to cancel the dance.
“Though Mrs.Bronson did cancel the dance I still believe that we will be able to get it back or maybe have a Sadie Hawkins dance but that requires people just agreeing to what the votes say and not say that Student Council is rigged.” senior Mekhael Kattula said.
