Fall play auditions
Auditions to be held this week
It’s time to open the curtains, turn on the lights and take stage.
The drama department starts auditioning for two melodramas— “The Saga of Sagebrush Sal” and “Ragweed Cowboy Joe” this week.
Auditions begin Wednesday, Sept. 21 and continue through Thursday, with callbacks beginning Friday, in the Performing arts center (PAC). For each audition, every actor needs to perform a one minute monologue from the scripts. Scripts can be picked up from drama department director David Springer.
“My advice [to people trying out] would be to not stress about it,” senior drama club member Brooke Coleman said. “If you read the scripts and practice your monologue, you’ll be great.”
For more information, visit Mr. Springer in room 409 during first through third hour or email [email protected].
