To worlds and back

At the end of each year director Eric Wells has his students put on a class show. A class show is an opportunity for students to show off what they’ve learned throughout their time in the class. “ “Joining theater arts has 1,000,000% been the best decision I’ve made in my highschool career,” senior Tyler Lang said.

Curtain call

Starting with elementary schools, Utica Community Schools will be rebuilding learning facilities. The goal when the plans first initiated was to improve the learning environment for students across the district.

Rebuilding future education

Bringing an idea to life, senior sculpture student Braden Williams begins construction on a book-based sculpture. The sculpture concept revolves around fortune telling, which Williams will evoke with a head sculpt, sporting a third eye. “It's [the eye] a bigger focus on that face. It's the main focus. Gotta put a lot of detail into that,” Williams said.
