Ruth B takes over music scene

Canadian singer-songwriter Ruth B is an up and coming 20-year-old young woman whose debut album “The Intro” features hit song “Lost Boy”, which was released in November from Columbia Records, along with other songs like “Dandelions” and “Young”.

This up and coming vocalist has a great sound and vibe that almost anyone can relate to. She writes lyrics that relate to her life that creates a bond between her and her listeners like the common struggles many people face everyday.

Her piano skills are striking and flow with the lyrics beautifully. Accompanied by her creative rhythm and mesmerizing vocals, her skills have caught the attention of many music enthusiasts.

Ruth uses her gift as a way to tell stories and social media has given her the power to share them. She gew up like any other normal teen, however, her extraordinary vocals got her noticed on Vine where posted short videos of herself singing and soon people wanted more.

Before her career started, she attended MacEwan University, but took time off to focus more on her singing instead of her studies. During this time she posted her first six second long video on May 9, 2013. What really built momentum for her was when she sung a line she made up inspired by the show “Once upon a time” and got 84,000 likes. Soon after this, she switched to a new school to focus on singing.

She is only at the beginning of her career, but with her unique song and courageous optimism, she will go far and catch the ears of many more eager listeners.
