How to balance life
As students are getting older, they want to do more, buy more and achieve better grades for the future.
Parents tend to stop paying for things, such as clothes and gas money, which causes the students to get jobs. There are seven easy steps to follow to balance your life.
- Try to do your homework on the bus ride home from school can help take some of the load off and then as soon as you get home you should finish your school work, but don’t rush it.
- Turn off all distractions while doing homework such as phone and TV or go to a quiet place to study.
- If you really have no time at all to do your homework, talk to your teacher about it and see if you can get extra time, just don’t depend on this all the time.
- Study for tests weeks in advance so you learn the curriculum and don’t have to cram it in the night before.
- Listen to music while doing homework, this will be more likely to help you focus more and it makes time speed by.
- Talk to your boss about working on game days or on weekends and always free your schedule so you can hang out with your friends.
- Lastly, skip practice or work if you have to, if you are really that overworked it is healthy to skip practice or work once in awhile to relax and have some fun
