Choir spreads holiday cheer
When holiday music began playing on the radio during late October, choir classes did the same by rehearsing for their winter concert.
“I’m really excited about it because I love the holiday concert,” senior Gabby White said. “But I’m also really sad this is my last holiday concert because it means that it’s the second to last choir concert ever.”
All choir classes, including Malow and Shelby junior high classes, will perform holiday-themed songs like “Carol of the bells” and “We wish you a Merry Christmas.” New songs were added this year, along with classical-cultural songs to celebrate and support all cultures. The concert is held in the Performing Arts Center on Dec. 15-16 at 7 pm.
“I’m mostly looking forward to seeing the alumni,” White said. “They come back to sing two songs with us; I am close with all of them.”
