ATHLETE: sophomore varsity quarterback Maxwell Wittwer
Q: How long have you been playing football?
A: “Since I was five-years-old.”
Q: What made you want to start playing?
A: “My whole family plays. I was basically born into the sport.”
Q: What is your favorite football memory?
A: “Either back to back championships with my youth team or being brought up to the varsity team my freshman year.”
Q: How does it feel to be a sophomore on the varsity team, let alone the quarterback?
A: “It feels amazing but you have a lot of responsibility. You have to be a leader and you have to play like you’re older than you really are. But overall it’s very fun.”
Q: What has been your most memorable moment this season?
A: “So far, beating Plymouth in the first game of the year because we really played as a team that night.”
