The environmental club and club advisor Brygida Deriemaker are collecting old technologies to recycle starting March 30.

“I always collect old phones, computers, and any other technologies students will offer up because the environmental club ends up recycling them and learns about where they go after they’ve been recycled,” Deriemaker said.

The students will be collecting the technologies after school and during lunches.

“I’m glad we’re doing this because I never even realized the advantages of recycling used technologies, especially phones, until we learned about it in class,” AP environmental senior Bradley Leich said.
